Remaining of the disaster

Remaining of the disaster

In Venice, the dark clouds are leaving the place to the Sun.

The tide is now slowly going down, back to the Adriatic Sea; in a few days Venice will be back to normalcy again.

The sunk vaporetto in the Giudecca island

Somewhere we can still see the remaining of the disaster, like this vaporetto that sank in the Giudecca island. In the background, two fishermen on their boat are going outside the lagoon, while the dark clouds are leaving the place to the Sun. Picture taken with a Leica SL and a 28mm Elmarit-M 2,8 asph. Iso 200, 1/500s f/8.

Soon all the rotten furniture of people living on the ground floor will be taken away by special boats, and replaced by new ones.

In the Giudecca island a man waits for his furniture to be taken away by a special boat.

I took this picture always in the Giudecca island, with a Leica SL and a 28mm Elmarit-M 2,8 asph. Iso 400, 1/160s f/3,5.

Taking advantage of some sunny days, the laundry is drying in many Campos or out of many windows.

The last rubble are taken away with the wheelbarrow. Picture taken with a Leica SL and a 28mm Elmarit-M 2,8 asph. Iso 400, 1/400s f/16.
