Photo Tours Venice

You will discover and capture the real Venetian atmosphere off the beaten track with a professional photographer by your side

The Photo Tours in Venice are thought for individuals, couples or small, already formed groups, in order to give you the possibility to sharpen your photographic skills and capture your own memories for a lifetime.

Moreover, as only a native can do, I will show you places of Venice unknown to most tourists, and I’ll teach you how to turn them into great photographic occasions.

In this page you can have a preview of my Photo walking Tours in Venice, and you can discover more in my dedicated website: www.photowalkinvenice.com

Cannaregio has a double face: it can be one of the most crowded districts, but it’s also the district of the unexpected, where you can find yourself into the workshop of an old blacksmith or into the shop of a junk dealer. In Cannaregio many are the hidden gems to discover…

A perfect composition is one of the most important, fascinating and unknown aspects of photography. This Photo Tour will greatly improve the framing of yours shots, while enjoying the most hidden and fascinating corners of Venice.

One of the very first settlements of Venice was built in Dorsoduro, more than 13 centuries ago, and here was constructed – and still exists – one of the very first churches. Most part of Dorsoduro is forgotten by the mass tourism: a touch of the real Venice, where every corner is a picture.

You got the correct exposure when you can see on the screen the effect that best matches your vision for an image. During this Photo Tour you will discover Venice and the best tips to get the proper exposure in every situation!

We will explore hidden “calli”, running along the houses where famous men, who made the history of this city lived many centuries ago. Many of these old buildings hold memories of legends, and are amazingly still there, in spite of the centuries gone by.

The multi-day Photo Workshop in Venice is meant to increase your technical skills while you experience the innumerable possibilities we will find in the six districts of this magic and fascinating City!

As far as it concerns the organization of the tour, you can choose among one of my itineraries or, should you wish to see a particular spot you have in mind, please don’t hesitate to make me any request about monuments and places you’d like to see, or local life you’d like to experience. Simply indicate it when you book your Photo walking Tour and I will tailor shape something special for you. I am very flexible. A Photographic tour in Venice can begin in San Marco’s Square or at the Rialto bridge, but if you prefer, I can also pick you up directly at your hotel.

I had as teachers Magnum and Nationals Geographic photographers such as David Alan Harvey, Bob Sacha, Alex Majoli and I published more than 12 photographic books about Venice and its countryside. My experience as a teacher comes from photographic workshops I held all over the world, in the Manfrotto School of Xcellence and, since 2012, in the prestigious Leica Akademie.
I speak English, French, German, Italian and… Venetian!
